About Our Walks
Reverent walks in nature to reconnect with the power of the Earth and the “Spirit of Place”.
We begin our time together with a brief grounding-and-centering in order to become present and set our intention for the Walk. From this place of presence, we take to the trail in SILENCE, appreciating the beauty of the land, attuning to the elements, plants, minerals, and animals.
At a mid-point in our journey, we settle into an area conducive for experiencing group meditation and meal sharing.
After the guided meditation, we break for snacks and conversation. This offers a lovely opportunity to connect with each other about what we have experienced.
Lastly, we make our way back to our original starting point. Usually folks walk back together, but if you want to stay and explore more that is up to you. These walks always hold elements of fun, exploration and discovery (both inward and outward).
Although we are walking in reverence, the tone of our time in nature is one of deep appreciation and delight in the fact that nature supports us in countless ways.
Our walk is usually about 3-4 hours round trip including the stop for guided mediation half-way in.

Energy Walks were started (circa 2001) as a way to regularly gather in nature with friends and community. The practice of silence on the walks was introduced to allow for a deeper connection with nature and to create greater peace and mindfulness within. We are continuing with this practice on a monthly basis and invite you to join us.
